Evan Langweiler
Executive Vice President, Global Communications and Media Relations NBCUniversal Studio GroupEvan Langweiler is Executive Vice President, Global Communications and Media Relations for the NBCUniversal Studio Group. Reporting directly to Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Donna Langley, Langweiler manages strategic communications for the global content portfolio and its executive leadership team alongside key partners across the portfolio.
Prior to his current role, Langweiler served as Executive Vice President, Global Communications and Media Relations for Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG), where he was responsible for executive communications and media relations for the film division. During his tenure at UFEG, he and his team drove public relations strategies for worldwide box office reporting, industry events, crisis management, as well as amplified and positioned key studio initiatives, including: the return to production during the pandemic; the Studio’s innovation across the distribution ecosystem; and first-of-their-kind social impact initiatives across DEIA and sustainability.
Langweiler has spent nearly two decades at NBCUniversal, holding several communications leadership roles overseeing the Film Group’s global media relations strategy. He began his career with the Company with a position in the highly-coveted NBC Page Program in 2007 before quickly moving into a role with NBC Corporate Communications in 2008.
He received his B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
